Hello, this page is for all the tips (on MW2).
Discuss your tip in forum and if we like it we'll put it here.
Tip 1 ~AFK~ FireShark [NL]
If you go for a nuke, you might wanna try domination, as you the game doesn't end sooner when you make more kills (which you do when you go for a nuke)
Tip 2 ~AFK~ FireShark [NL]
When you have an EMP, use it so it covers the entire end of the match.
Enemy's can't use electronics, but they also can't fire their nuke!
Tip 3 ~AFK~ FireShark [NL]
Harriers shoot down:
- Attack Helicopter
- Pavelow
- Chopper Gunner
So watch if an enemy harrier is up when you want to use one of these!
Tip 4 ~AFK~ FireShark [NL]
You can detonate C4 by presing F twice (default button for use). That way you don't have to put away your weapon or riot shield, which is really useful.
You have got to take care of not to stand on a weapon, because when you double press F, C4 will explode, but you'll also pick up the weapon, which is kinda confusing/disturbing to your gameplay.
Tip 5 ~AFK~ FireShark [NL]
You
CAN direct your Emergency Airdrop!
When you throw the flare, the plane is going to fly in from behind you, following the line from you to the flare (at the moment you throw it) and then drop the first one on the flare, and the other 3 on the same line.
Tip 6 ~AFK~ Casimir
Use either stun or flash grenades often, it'll blind/slow enemies and temporarily disable claymores and C4.
Tip 7 ~AFK~ prEsSuRe
Check your radar/minimap often. It reveals enemies' locations often, so you know where they are, which is very helpful.
Tip 8 ~AFK~ prEsSuRe
Listen to footsteps (close range only). You'll know when they show up around the wall or where they've stopped. Knowing this greatly increases you chance of taking them out.
Perks that help you are:
- Ninja Pro; your own footsteps are silent so you can't be heard, which automaticly makes the enemy footsteps more clear.
- SitRep Pro; enemy footsteps are louder.
Tip 9 ~AFK~ FireShark
If you're going for a higher killstreak reward, use OMA (one man army)!
Here's an example:
Killstreak setup: - Harriers - AC130 - Nuke
Class 1:
Gun (a powerful one as you don't have stopping power, Tar and Scar are good ones)
OMA (means no secondary)
Hardline
Class 2
Gun (also powerful, no stopping power on this one either)
any secondary (i prefer stinger/javelin so you don't have to worry about enemy air support)
Danger Close Pro (killstreaks do more damage)
So this is what you're gonna do:
Use class 1 to get to 10 kills (ac130), but before using it, switch to Class 2.
This way your AC130 will do more damage, getting you more kills, and getting faster to a nuke!
Tip 10 ~AFK~ FireShark
When you are knifing, i recommend using one of the 2 classes i've described on the Good custom classes page (
http://codclanafk.ucoz.com/index/good_custom_classes/0-39).
Then, use always try to
get behind them, so they spawn in front of you rather than behind you, and knife 'em!
This can be difficult, so when someone has spotted you, either
take another way to stab him in the back,
or
use zigzag (right, left, right, left enz, i don't know the English word sorry :p)
so he doesn't hit you and then stab him. Have fun!
Tip 11 ~AFK~ 1tactic23
When your making your kit, always first decide if your going to make a rush kit or a defend kit. When you rush you don't really need claymores but you will need frags/semtex and a gun with high damage as you try to get close to the enemy. If you choose to defend you will need claymores and a weapon that is really stable/steady without much recoil as you will take enemies down from a distance.
